Beth MATTSON - vocal, guitar

|
A tall, elegant woman, BETH MATTSON comes from the American midwest (Milwaukee), where she fed on folk music and negro spirituals before discovering bluegrass, her present passion. Her grandmother, MAE MATTSON, toured and played piano in the 1920s with her group called THE JAZZADORS. Beth picked up where Mae left off, becoming solo vocalist for Seine & Marnes FRENCH GOSPEL VOICES in the 90s.
Currently, Beth divides her time between her ensemble PARADISE CAFÉ and teaching English through music. Her clear vibrant voice is reminiscent of Emmylous, one of her inspirations for her own songwriting.
